About this villa rental
Cozy villa on lake Como. The structure has been completely renovated and refurbished in 2021. The all-window front of the house gives a great view of the lake, and the terrace offers the opportunity to have a meal enjoying the relaxing garden.
Several amenities are present to give you the best possible experience; barbecue, air-conditioning, fireplace, Jacuzzi, and private berth with boat rental are among them.
The villa develops on two floors. The ground one features a bedroom, a bathroom, and the living room, with an open-space kitchen. This floor also has direct access to the garden.
The first floor is composed of the second bathroom and the second bedroom.
On one side of the garden, the jacuzzy and the external shower are present, while on the other side you can find a barbecue area with a small table.
On the side of the villa there is a large porch. It can be shaded for the best comfort and it can also be completely closed if the weather becomes a little bit more chilly.
The communal gardens allow our guests to reach the lake for a dip.
The villa, the garden, the jacuzzy, and the barbecue area are private. You will be the only one accessing them.
A private box is also available for the car. The box is not inside the property, but it is only 200 meters from it. The car can be temporarily left in front of the house, at the side of the road, while unloading the luggage.
The jacuzzi is available all year around. We completely change the water after every check-out. During the winter season, it might take some time before the water reaches back the desired temperature, so you may need to wait until evening. Please keep it covered to speed up the process.
A private berth is available to dock a boat. You will be able to explore the lake without moving the car. We can help arranging a boat rental.
We are always available via phone. We will answer as soon as possible.
As we are locals in Como, we prepared a list with our personal suggestions about the area. You will find it upon your arrival, but do not hesitate to ask.

What an amazing property! We stayed three days here in Carate Urio, Lake Como. This rental was so cute and convenient for us!! The views were unbelievable from the bedroom and the top floor!This property had everything you could ever need, being away from home. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for the four of us. It was so clean and cozy. The hot tub overlooking the lake was a huge plus for our girls. They used it every evening. We would definitely stay here again. Loved every minute we spent there. Such great hosts and property!!

Spotlessly clean and modern fittings throughout; everything worked really well. The views are amazing from every space, indoor and out while private access to the garden and spa was so much better than just a terrace. Locked garage was a bonus too although it is off site (as described in the listing) which is really only problematic when offloading luggage. You absolutely need a car and have good physical strength to climb the pebbled path and steps to the front door - particularly as you’ll need to get your luggage all the way up and back again, and the communal bins are quite some way away where you must deposit your variously sorted waste. But, it’s definitely worth it! Although 2-bed, 2-bath, it works better for a couple and maybe 1 child. We would feel very confined if two couples, especially as lounge seating is only for 2 people. As a couple, the space to spread out was a dream.

We had a fabulous time! The hot tub and views were a highlight. Beds are queen size for Americans. Showers were pretty small and the kitchen lacked in proper lighting if you plan on cooking dinner or an evening meal. We will definitely be staying here again! Such a beautiful area and location on the lake!

Shhhhh, don’t tell anyone but La Serra is amazing. The location in Urio couldn’t be better, 25 minutes to Como or the many wonderful villages north like Lenno, Tramazzo etc. The villa is modern and overall well appointed. A few more basics would be helpful ie dishwasher tablets but when I mentioned to Nicola, they magically showed up the next day. Upstairs bedroom has spectacular lake views, smaller bathroom, downstairs has very good views and bigger bath and shower. The dining room chairs are currently like bean bag sacks and the owners seem inclined to replace them with regular chairs. Beds are very comfortable and suffice linens. Outside dining area is fantastic with Electra roof and side transparent shades for keeping bugs out or using the A-C outside. Hot tub is small but a very nice extra. Overall this is a special property for 5 days or longer and we hope to return. Heaven on earth!
