Superb

Ideally placed a stones throw from railway station. Very near harbour

The stairs we were on top floor a bit steep near end. No lift. Had to share facilities.

Our stay was as expected with a vast improvement in our room.

Breakfast was good and improved from our last visit. Location is perfect for us.So many stairs

location good. noise could be a problem - only informed of late night music after we had booked.

location good. noise could be a problem - only informed of late night music after we had booked. breakfast- average, better quality produce would a more pleasing breakfast. staff- helpful when required- we needed to change rooms and they facilitated this. parking isn't great- you have to use the Council run long stay car park, incurring a daily fee that has to be renewed each day. party atmosphere in the bar in the evenings.

We were told if we were on lower floor about the music till early hours, which wasn't too bad,but you you want quite then make sure your not on first floor

Enjoyed the stay and would stay again.

Our breakfast was cold. Selection was okay but no choice of eggs.

Pleasant basic room, breakfast was good and the bar area was ok

Really noisy on a night in the rooms, although this was stated before booking, do not stay if you wish to sleep before 2am! Felt like we were still in the bar the noise was that load!

There was nothing I didn't like we've booked up again for April hotel was well worth the money .

Liked the location, entertainment was good breakfast also good and catered for ceoliac disease ie gluten free

Room was on the top floor and had a shared bathroom facility. Recommend booking an ensuite room

the place was definitely worth the money, a really affordable room right in the hart of Whitby. It was clean and the staff where lovely.

the rooms where slightly small and the shower was low however for the money was well worth it.

Perfect place for an overnght in Whitby.

Great location, plenty of free parking within walking distance. Great room and breakfast for the price.

A lovely winter break in a beautiful town.

I thought the hotel room has Been very cleverly designed things like the lights on the walls next to bed are good u can move them around.the shower was absolutely brilliant usually when I stop in hotels I am often very disappointed by lack of water pressure .the decor was really nice and modern it was warm in the room that is a must for me.and I like the wardrobe because it had shelving ,another great desighn idea the breakfast buffet was really good but I would say fried eggs would have been nice and the sausage were poor standard but overall it was very good and we wouldstop there again in the future..

The breakfast could be improved with better quality sausages.and fried eggs as another option. Wish the room had socket next to bed for charging phone .

On the whole, good stay- staff friendly and the breakfast was nice

Located right in the centre of Whitby so easy walking access to the old town, Abbey etc.

Visiting in January in a cold snap, the room could have been warmer and an extra blanket for the bed would have been nice.

Nothing to dislike but cooked breakfast food could have been a little bit warmer.

if u want a late night drink this place is fine but if u want a good nights sleep withought drinking the bar dry to achi

have stopped here several times before, good central position

music on until 2 am. after that fans went off every 20 minutes outside, I’m assuming they were the cellar fans that kept kicking in. worst night sleep ever, I was absolutely shattered the next day😵
