Good stay. Great view. Cleaning crew was prob in hurry, because they did not get a lot of dog hair from previous people. Easy sweep up. Had one issue and the owner was quick to handle in person. Plan on staying there again. Great neighborhood and quiet. Fun fishing off deck

Great place, right on the water & looking out towards Little Dauphin Island. We ate meals on the deck every day, watching & listening to so many different birds & getting glimpses of dolphins most days. The property was pet-friendly & was a great space for the dogs to enjoy vacation with us.

We stayed for a week with our two pups and this property was just perfect for us. It wasn't overly fancy, but it was clean and functional, which is what we needed in a beach house. The view off the deck was fabulous and we were walking distance to many of the stores and restaurants (and all the island's 5 or 6 churches, which are curiously all located in the same 2-square block area). At one point, the internet went down and we called Mr. Reeves for assistance, and he took care of it within minutes. Just one thing to be aware of....the unit is a duplex and there are 2 connecting doors to the other unit. While it never bothered us, we could hear a lot of what was going on in the other unit and certainly they heard us. If you're looking for something super quiet and private, this probably isn't the right spot. But if you're looking for good value in a dog-friendly waterfront beach house, book this place!

Property was clean but in serious need of updating. I apparently misunderstood description and pictures in that I thought the beach was nearby. Almost all fish caught in the bay behind the house were hardhead cat fish.
