The Avery Hotel is situated on the majestic Ebbetts Pass Scenic Byway (Highway 4) east of the quaint, historic gold-rush town of Murphys. With over 22 tasting rooms, Murphys is a destination for wine enthusiasts and shoppers. The Avery Hotel is perfect for large group vacations, ski groups and families. Bear Valley Ski Resort is located just 28 miles up the road. Calaveras Big Trees State Park is only 10 minutes away. There are plenty of restaurants including Snowshoe Restaurant and Brewery. It's the Perfect Holiday Getaway.
Two pianos grace the bar and dining room inside, and a large woodsy stage in the backyard make this a wonderful spot for musical gatherings. It would be a great place to have a music camp or retreat. Email for special quotes for events or weddings.
There is a pool table in the ample living area of the hotel. The large kitchen is fully equipped to handle large gatherings. A shady side garden with year-round green grass offers a nice communal space. The pavilion seats100 for receptions and large group gatherings.

Our stay here for about twenty guests was fully accommodated! There was plenty of space to entertain several different groups, and the big kitchen and industrial dishwasher made both cooking and cleaning a fun time! There we so many dishes, glassware, and cookware, and plenty of cold storage. Major highlight was the rustic full bar setup, truly an amazing backdrop for hanging out! I heavily recommend this location for its space and proximity to Bear Valley! Thank you so much Karl, Mimi, and Cheyenne!

Our group of 21 had a great time at the Avery! There was plenty of space for adults and kids to spread out and enjoy the weekend away.

Truly such a cool rental property! The town is very quaint with restaurants and grocery store nearby. Highly recommend for large groups
