About this house rental
The cozy outdoor TV/Living area is the perfect place for game night or watching a movie while grilling at the outdoor kitchen. It is located just off the kitchen which makes entertaining your guests that much easier. And the front porch with swing and chairs is the best place to gather, relax and people watch anytime of the day
The main bedroom, including an en-suite bathroom, and 3 guest bedrooms are all located upstairs. Each room is adorned in beautiful natural light with windows throughout. An outside casita, serving as a 5th bedroom, is attached to the garage and provides additional privacy with a queen bed and separate living area.
If you aren’t in the mood for cooking, this house is also a very casual 5 minute walk to the lake where you can enjoy acclaimed waterfront eateries such as Hula Hut, Mozart’s and Quince. Or a 5 minute UBER gets you into downtown Austin with a plethora of great restaurants and bars.

This is the fourth year in row we have let this wonderful house! It feels like we are at our home in Austin. There are always some nice welcome treats when we arrive after a long journey. If you are looking for a quiet restful home close to all that Austin has to offer, this is your place.

This house has a great location in a nice neighborhood. It’s an old house with lots of character. Nicely decorated with lots of space for our big family. Mark is great host with good communication before and during our stay.We experienced some major cleanliness problems. At the time of our stay, we were not able to stay in the detached casita due to bugs. The dishwasher was broken so we had to hand wash much of what we used. The inside of the kitchen cabinets needed a good cleaning. A family member found a rusty nail within the rug in their room. The secondary bathroom’s tub was slow to drain we stood in water while showering. Mark was very responsive to our concerns and tried to make things right. Unfortunately, there were just too many issues to make our stay enjoyable. Like other reviews, the front porch and backyard living space were the highlight of the house. We had a sweet cat visit us in the backyard and that was the highlight for our kids. Good memories were made, some great and some not so much.
