The home and location are beautiful. The airport noise/proximity isn't a problem at all...it's actually fun to watch the planes land and take-off. The furnishings and amenities were excellent. Christine was responsive to calls and texts. The only draw back was that there is construction right next door. Thankfully, the noise was manageable and Christine help to communicate with the builder; however, the compressor turned on at 8am and off at 4pm.

Three bedrooms, two bathrooms - it is a split-level layout which adds more privacy. All the basics, nice kitchen with plenty of pots/pans and dishes with utensils. Wildflowers in the backyard, lovely view of the water and quiet neighborhood. Lots to do in town of Sitka - shopping, yummy seafood, Bear Sanctuary, Raptor Sanctuary, Alaskan Native culture, crafts and dances. Wonderful visit!
