Halfway between Deshaies and Sainte Rose, you appreciate its calm and tranquility, in this old luxury hotel residence. This is a wonderful villa. Clean, well organized, well equipped, safe, private, quiet and beautiful. The location is great. You are a 5 minute walk to an area with a large supermarket, pharmacy and a few restaurants but still in a very quiet and private residential area. Beach is 150 meters from the villa. A lovely beach for walking but waves were a bit too much for us for swimming. Some of the best beaches in Guadeloupe are less than a 15 minutes drive from the villa. The town of Deshaies with many nice restaurants is also about 15 minutes away. The welcome and assistance from Veronique and Bernard was excellent. Good to know that the villa comes with a surf board, a cooler, ice packs and some beach chairs which we did not expect but greatly appreciated. There is also lots of books (mainly in French) and some sand toys too for the littles ones. Another big plus we had not realized, is that the villa is part of a gated community so you need a code to access the area. The area itself however feels very safe so this was just an added bonus. Would return in a heartbeat! Un GROS merci à Véronique et Bernard!
