Summary:
This is one of our newest Additions for the Avenwood Cabin Line up, We think you will feel right at home in Butterfly Ridge. Walking in you will be pleased to find our beautiful double sided fireplaces and queen bed will get you feeling cozy right away. Step out onto the porch and soak in the hot tub, make your favorite meal in the charcoal grill or hot plate, and then just relax with a fire.
The Neighborhood:
All of our Avenwood cabins are in the heart of Wayne National Forest. ATVs and horseback riding or just a few of the offerings that they offer. Hocking Hills attractions are just a short 10-15 minute drive (Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave, etc.) along with ziplining, canoeing, hiking, and all the other adventures you are looking for! Looking for something a little bit more low-key? Take a jaunt out to Hocking Hills Winery and Brewery33 to taste some of our locally made adult beverages. For your convenience, downtown Logan is another great stop where you can grab a fresh-out-of-the-oven donut and check out some local shops.

Great cabin! Clean, secluded, perfect for a little getaway!

When we walked in, we had to sweep automatically there was dog bones under the bed… went to put coffee by the coffee machine and there was grease all over the coffee machine had to go out and buy a coffee maker mold in the bathroom. They hide it behind a hamper and when I addressed it, nobody said anything but other than that check-in was awesome and all the hiking was great

We LOVED butterfly ridge! the cabins were easy to find, clean and very spacey and pretty on the inside. hard to get ahold of host at first but once we did she responded quickly and answered all questions quickly and thoroughly. hot tub was AMAZING as well

The cabin is just as advertised. Some of the dishes looked dirty but overall it was very nice. Our only real complaint was the lack of communication from the property owner. I messaged 3 seperate times asking for information and check in instructions with no response. I finally hsd to call the property directly snd all they gave us was a curt response with the door code and no other instructions
