About this house rental
Katmandu is an Original 1930 Twain Harte cabin which has been lovingly restored in cabin decor with modern upgrades. Knotty Pine interior with soaring ceilings, 4 bedrooms, one with a new king size bed, one with queen size bed, (both of these are bedrooms are downstairs) the other 2 have full size beds and are upstairs, all have new comfy mattresses. (The two bedrooms upstairs have steep stairs going to them as shown in the photo's) 2 bathrooms, 1 w/ tub and shower, the other has a walk-in shower, both are recently remodeled. A rock fireplace with a wood burning stove, ceiling fan, cable T.V., wireless high speed internet, cd player, forced air heater, air conditioner for the warmer summer months. Kitchen has a newer gas range, microwave, refrigerator with ice maker. Fully equipped kitchen with every accessory you will need. Front load Washer & Dryer. Large wrap around deck with gas BBQ, table and chairs.
Enjoy beautiful, private, Twain Harte Lake. Lake opens Memorial Week-end and closes after Labor Day. Nice beach, snack shack, playground, life-guard. Sign the kids up for swimming lessons.
Our beautiful cabin is located just a 10 minute walk to quaint Twain Harte, where you will find great restaurants, Golf, shopping, and a multitude of goings on.

Very charming home was exactly as described and pictures were accurate. Upstairs rooms were very small and stairs very steep but this was disclosed by the owner in the house description. Kitchen was well stocked and deck was larger than we expected with plenty of comfortable chairs. Parking was enough for 3 F150 trucks. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend this home to friends.

We loved our stay here. The property was homey and comfortable for our family of 4. The kitchen had everything we needed for basic meals and the beds were more comfortable than most rentals. I hope we can return!

The house was perfect for a family of 6, it was cozy (love that is had AC), very clean and provided everything we needed. Lake access was easy.
