You’ll have a great time at this comfortable, spacious 2 story house built in 1885 that’s been stylishly renovated and updated. Near all the local attractions and the Ohio River as well as many easy day trips to surrounding states. A large fenced backyard and porches on the front and back are a pleasant way to enjoy the beautiful weather and kick your feet up. Beautifully decorated, especially if you love elephants. There are six bedrooms and they are all very comfortable. Bathrooms were very clean and shower was great upstairs. Lots of amenities ! The place could have used a deep clean. There was a lot of dust on the blinds and some of the coffee cups in the kitchen needed a wash. Some surfaces of items were also dusty. We wished there would have been a common bathroom on the first floor instead of just the ensuite one. We missed having a Keurig. Dining room was large enough for the amount of people that the house accommodated with super comfy chairs. The living room only has one couch that comfortably seats 3. We were 4 and we smushed together.The neighborhood seemed a little dangerous and I was glad that there was an alarm system in the house. The host was great with us. I would rent here again if I needed to be in downtown Wheeling.

We stayed here recently for my son's wedding. We were looking for a place where the whole family could stay together. This home was perfect! The house itself is beautiful and has obviously been carefully restored/remodeled. There were plenty of rooms for all 11 of us. The kitchen was large and well stocked. The beds were comfortable & there were plenty of basic necessities inside. What really made this great was it allowed all of us to hang out together for the weekend, cook meals together, and catch up. It was a lot cheaper than booking separate hotel rooms for 4 days and then going out to eat for each meal. (Of course, one of us being an actual chef did make the homemade meals that much better!) Our hosts provided all the info we needed beforehand and promptly answered any questions we had leading up to the trip. There's plenty of on street parking as well and the neighborhood was quiet. Overall I would absolutely recommend this home and its hosts. Thank you for a lovely stay!
