About this farm stay rental
Sunnyside Retreat (sleeps 30) sits on 105 acre cattle farm, a charming spacious House. Beautiful countryside views from every window and a porch with plentiful seating to relax and socialize. A beautiful (2000 sq ft) wood decor Event Hall within steps of the house (boardwalk between then). Woods, trails, butterflies, meadows - serene and lovely. event center with 3 ping pong tables, 1.5 acre stocked pond, fire pit, (firepit) , volleyball basketball, and badminton, cornhole, soccer. Inside there's a piano, bumper pool, foosball & poker table. Main floor No-steps bedroom- very Handicap friendly.

Our family of 23 had a wonderful time staying 4 nights. There was plenty of room for everyone. The use of the event hall was especially nice for family meals and game time. Martha allowed us to feed the cats and goats. She took my grandchildren to the barn to collect eggs, and even shared some eggs with us. Martha is a wonderful host. Easy to contact and quickly meets needs. My family enjoyed the trails and fishing, and also, the quad rides around the property. There isn't too much to do close by. You would need to drive at least 35 minutes to go to a beach or Boss Bison Ranch. The shops close early in Carrollton, but there is a nice grocery store there called Sanders Market. Martha has plenty of board games, books, and toys (both inside and outside). She also has 2 pack n plays and 2 cribs. The kitchen is stocked with all you need.We really enjoyed our stay! EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT !!! Couldn't have asked for a better lodging experience ! The hosts were VERY personable & we enjoyed our time conversing with them ! Would highly recommend their home for lodging !!!

Martha is a wonderful hostess. She is friendly, accommodating and available. The house is clean and perfect for our group of quilters.
