Great place, walking distance from everything. The room size and amenities were great, and well worth the price. Friendly staff, and fruit trees instead of a continental breakfast. This is where I will be staying for any future visits to Placencia, it checked off all my boxes.

The owner was appropriately attentive and gave us good ideas when asked about restaurants. The downstairs unit that we stayed in had a bathroom window that did not have a curtain. When I brought up the privacy concern, he told me that there was a tree with a huge leaves in front of it. So, no one could see in it. However, it was extremely uncomfortable because, I can see the outside steps and the windows to another unit. Plus, the whole noisy bed needs to be replaced: the frame, mattress and all. It made noise if you bumped into it, turned, sat, anything. We got no sleep on it at all. I simply left a day early, cause my seem should not be sacrificed for such a reason. It was the unit with only a microwave and fridge (not as shown in this picture).
