During your stay, indulge in the cozy interior and explore the exterior delights. The covered deck invites you to relax in a spa tub, watch TV, or savor a grilled dinner, followed by the ultimate s’mores experience at our fire pit with the enchanting creek nearby. Hot tubs are drained and sanitized after each check-out, ensuring a pristine environment for your relaxation. At Little Woods, maintaining a thoroughly clean and sanitized space is our topmost priority.
Welcome to the “wasp season” November to December and early spring! During chilly nights and early mornings, followed by warm days, wasp tend to gather on rooftops in search of warmth. While it doesn’t necessarily mean there’s a wasp nest in the house, they are essentially in hibernation mode, seeking cozy spots.
Please note that Broken Bow/Hochatown is a rural area and while our cabins have fast internet, outages may occur. We cannot guarantee your internet service. Since we are located in a forested area and in a tropical climate zone, it is possible, but not likely, to see snakes, lizards, mice and other wild animals as well as all kinds of bugs, including, but not limited to, ants, honey bees, bugs, roaches etc on the property.
Lastly, please note that this is a forested area, and the Oklahoma Forestry Service enforces a burning ban during some periods. Please check the current burn ban during status online before using the outdoor fire pit to avoid fines upward of $1000.

This was our first time in Hochatown. This was the perfect place for our family of 5. The proximity to lake access and other activities was perfect. The Hot tub was nice to relax in at the end of the day. If/when we go back we would definitely stay again.

I had an amazing stay at this cabin this past weekend, me and my friend were looking for a place that could relieve us of our stresses, and give us the best experience possible for our trip to broken bow, and this place gave us exactly what we needed, overall I enjoyed my stay here very much!

The host left us a s’mores starter kit!

Overall, the biggest positive was that our kids loved the property, which made the trip enjoyable for them.That said, my husband and I were disappointed by the cleanliness and communication throughout our stay. Upon arrival, we noticed several issues, including dirty carpeting, bedding that didn't seem freshly laundered (we ended up washing the blankets ourselves), dirty cups on the shelves, and multiple cracked wine glasses. The TVs in the primary bedroom and on the porch were also not working. And lighting off the back porch had multiple bulbs out on the string lights. The bathroom was another concern. The shower drained very poorly, leaving you standing in dirty water, and it leaked significantly. I notified the host, but no meaningful action was taken during our stay.After checkout, we realized we had left behind our 5-year-old daughter's night light that she sleeps with every night. The host responded initially and said they would check for it, but we never received a follow-up. I even offered to pay for shipping to have it returned, but have not heard back. That was particularly disappointing.While the property met our needs as a pet-friendly rental, we would not choose to stay here again. Hopefully these issues can be addressed for future guests.
