About this cottage rental
Amazing location and breathtaking views! Nestled in the coastal foothills just off California Scenic Hwy 46 West - exactly halfway between the quaint artist village of Cambria (10 min) and gateway to the spectacular Paso Robles/Templeton wine region (just outside your door).
Newly remodeled cottage from the ground up. Enjoy top of the line furnishings, amenities and touches that one would expect from an artist. The large master bedroom is a Southeast Asian retreat with unique pieces from Nepal and Thailand. The queen bedroom takes you back to early California. The kitchen is fully stocked and has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Relax in privacy on the patio overlooking a vast farming valley below or tuck yourselves back in the shade of the oaks and bay trees off the rear patio.
For the safety of our guests during COVID, we have increased our minimum stay. We We also try to reserve 1 day for cleaning between guests. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

The Artist's Cottage was everything we hoped for and more.Nestled in a beautiful, peaceful setting, the cottage offers sweeping views of vineyards stretching across the valley toward the mountains beyond. Every morning and evening felt like a postcard, with changing light over the vines and hills creating a truly relaxing atmosphere.The location is ideal—private and secluded, yet only minutes from the charming towns of Templeton and Paso Robles, with easy access to some of the region's best wineries. We especially enjoyed our visits to Jada Vineyard and Winery and Niner Wine Estates, both of which provided memorable tasting experiences.The cottage itself is immaculate, cozy, and exceptionally well equipped. It has everything needed for a comfortable stay while maintaining the character and charm that make it such a special retreat. We especially appreciated the privacy and tranquility—it felt like a true escape from everyday life.For those willing to venture to the coast, we highly recommend dining at Robyn's Restaurant in Cambria, which remains one of our favorite restaurants anywhere.If you're looking for a beautiful wine country getaway with stunning views, excellent wineries, nearby dining, and complete peace and quiet, the Artist's Cottage is hard to beat. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Central Coast.

Fantastic view. Very comfortable living room and bedrooms. Nicely stocked kitchen makes staying in for dinner a treat.

This cottage is on a hillside with spectacular views. The owners are very detailed & creative which is on display the minute you walk in the door. My wife & I have been coming here for the last 18 years & it never disappoints!
