Prime location and amazing view. On the balcony there is a great view of the acropolis. So nice to sit out there with a drink and soak it up. The neighborhood is hopping with lots of shopping and restaurants and only a 20 min walk to the acropolis. It is noisy - just a warning if thats not something you want. There is an elevator which was important as the apartment is on the 6th floor (north american counting). There is A/C but FYI when you leave the power shuts off and so you get back to a hot room - but it only takes about 5 min to cool down. place is beautiful with 2 good size rooms and 2 bathrooms, plus a single day bed in living room, but FYI no shower curtains so the whole bathroom gets soaked when you shower and towels were in short supply. We had a small issue with check-in (it wasn't ready for 2.5 hours after the noted time) but the host was super good at communication and we had a nice time exploring the area. Would have liked luggage racks and/or drawers. FYI for anyone who wants to know, the coffee maker was a drip and there were filters and sugar available, but you'll need to bring/buy ground coffee.

Centrally located next to Monisteraki Square. It was subject to loud music from a nearby rooftop bar but we adjusted to it. The view was to die for!

Unbiased and honest review. The pictures from the host show a beautiful view and it is. However, what it doesn’t show is the streets are covered in trash, cigarette butts and the smells were nauseating. There’s a much closer luggage locker to the apartment than the one the host recommended and the streets are not easy to pull luggage down the half mile away. The other one is a block and a half from the apartment and cost the same €2 an hour. The apartment itself is okay enough for the price, though the toilet lid and one of the shades was broken upon arrival. When we informed the host, they knew about it so it was disappointing we didn’t get a heads up. They also waited until check in to let us know the fire place is just for show…
The elevator is very small and the steps are steep. The apartment in the pictures looked beautiful and in person it looks cheaply maintained. The city noises are very clear and loud to hear through the apartment but it was also a Greek holiday so maybe it’s not as bad on an average stay. Communication was very slow, we’d wait days for a response and would have to send another message to finally hear back. Hotels are more expensive in the area so you get what you pay for with this place. The location was very convenient and within walking distance of most everything and the AC worked very well. We will likely pay more to stay in a hotel next time.
