About this house rental
This Georgia home may be a stone's throw away from Atlanta- 45min to an hour, but its a trip-worthy destination in its own right. Right out the door, a private dock overlooks Lake Allatoona, the cleanest lake in Georgia. Relax by the private 2 story party dock. There is an extensive outdoor area with a fire pit, outdoor TV, cornhole and hot tub. Kids and adults will love the Pack Man machine downstairs. Enjoy a relaxing lake vacation with year round views.

Location is great but there were a few things that could’ve been updated to the listing so we weren’t caught off guard. The additional parking gate is broken so you have to unload your car from the car port and go down a couple flights of deck stairs to the front door. The sauna advertised in the listing is broken. The grill on the deck doesn’t work. You can tell the owner has a dog that swims in the lake and comes inside so there’s a smell. It’s a nice house with a great location but I think the listing needs to be updated or the amenities need to be addressed.

We stayed here for a weekend family getaway and had a wonderful time. The property is absolutely beautiful—right on the water with its own private dock. Although the weather didn’t quite cooperate for swimming, we still enjoyed fishing off the dock and taking in the peaceful lake views. The home itself is spotless, well-maintained, and clearly cared for. The host was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. While a specific issue couldn’t be resolved during our visit, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. We’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing lakefront retreat with a group!
