The Space
Welcome to our owner-managed hilltop condo in the secure, gated Sunset Hills community. Because we personally maintain this property, you can expect a high standard of cleanliness and direct, fast communication.
Nestled on a mountainside, this tri-level retreat offers sweeping panoramic ocean views, constant sea breezes, and a lush tropical environment. Located just a 3-5 minute walk from Coco Beach, the property offers a peaceful escape while remaining perfectly walkable to the vibrant dining, shopping, beach cafes, and local markets of downtown.
Layout & Sleeping Arrangements
The condo features 3 patios, 2.5 bathrooms, and comfortably accommodates guests across multiple levels:
Second Floor (Bedrooms):
Master Bedroom: 1 Queen-size bed, en-suite bathroom, and shared ocean-facing balcony.
Second Bedroom: 1 Full-size bed AND 1 Full-size sofa bed, en-suite bathroom, and shared balcony.
Main Floor (Living Area): Open-concept living room with 1 Twin-size sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a half-bathroom, and a front patio with ocean views.
Rooftop Terrace: A private, open-air space equipped with a jacuzzi and stunning panoramic views of the bay.
Amenities & Community Perks
Water: The community features a private well, providing safe, drinkable water directly from the tap (a rare bonus in Costa Rica).
Pools: Guests have access to 6 shared community soaking pools with jacuzzis and showers. (Note: Pool #5 is strictly for adults 16+).
Parking: We provide one parking spot with 24/7 security.
Essentials: We provide fresh bed linens, towels, and a starter supply of locally sourced personal hygiene products. Guests with specific brand, dietary, or allergy preferences are always welcome to bring their own items.
Extended Stays: For long-term bookings in any season, we provide complimentary weekly cleaning of the apartment.
Concierge & Local Tours
Our staff is happy to help you directly with any questions or guidance. We can help arrange private fishing tours, coastal boating trips, mountain hot springs excursions, and more. We are also conveniently located close to LIR Liberia Airport.
We’d be happy to help arrange your airport pickup and any additional transportation you may need. A private transfer between Liberia International Airport (LIR) and Coco is $65 one way (standard taxi). We work with a trusted, fully licensed and insured transportation provider for your safety and peace of mind.

Things to Note
Energy Conservation: The weather is hot and to prevent electrical overheating and conserve energy, PLEASE turn off all lights and A/C units when you are not inside the condo.
Climate & Comfort: To ensure your comfort in the tropical heat, our A/C units and fans are professionally serviced and cleaned on a weekly basis. If you ever need assistance operating any of the appliances or electronics, please let us know immediately upon check-in. We are available 24/7 and always happy to help!
Hilltop Access: The incredible views and constant breeze are a result of the property’s elevated location. Be prepared for a walk up a steep incline, or consider renting a golf cart for getting around town easily.

It was even better than advertised, we wish we could’ve stayed longer! As soon as we saw the rooftop view we started asking about purchasing the condo (it was that amazing). All of the rooms were clean, AC’s worked well, there were many pools to choose from but the one closest to our unit was our favorite. Hot tub on the rooftop worked well. This was perfect for the end of our girls trip; it would also be a great rental for a couple. Ilya was a great host - communicated well, walked us through the property, was friendly, and gave many recommendations. We would stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Great Location and View! Ilya was a great host and was able to give us a walk though of the condo upon arrive that was very helpful. Ilya also provided several recommendations for restaurants, groceries, and activities that made our stay very memorable. This has been my best experience with a VRBO rental by far thanks to him. 10/10 would work again with Ilya and hope to be back sooner than later!

We had such a short visit that we didn't get a chance to make use of many of the features at this property like the kitchen or rooftop hot tub. What we did see was very nice, however. I'd whole-heartedly recommend the place with only one caveat - the AC

Ilya was a very attentive host. He responded quickly to all of our questions and requests. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed to cook a few meals. The pools were incredible and it’s a very short walk to the beach. One thing to note, it’s on a hill and there are lots of steep paths to get around the complex. There are some stairs too.
