Please use number 1 kilchiaran cottages in google maps, please be aware that gearach has used 1 kikchiaran farm in there adress as well so plase drive past gearach and carry on untill you come down a steep hill and see a semi circular farm.
pass the farm untill you see a sheep pens turn right and the cottage is on the side closest to the shore.
The cottage is situated in an amazing part of True Scotland. With great views and lovely beaches Islay has become a fast growing tourist attraction in Scotland.
The Islay Whiskey Festival is a week of music and whisky on Islay - famous for its single malts. The Islay Festival transforms the island with a full programme of traditional music, whisky tasting, ceilidh's, Gaelic lessons and golf. Fèis Ìle has grown up from a celebration of Gaelic language and culture to a full-blown festival.

The cottage is spacious and clean. David was an excellent host. The location is very close to a nearby beach (5 min walk). The cottage was exactly what we wanted for our stay during the Féis Ile.

The cottage is clean, tidy, comfortable and convenient. The location is lovely and the bird-life outstanding. It was good to meet our genial host and learn a little more about the life of the farm.
