About this cabin rental
Cozy one bedroom with full kitchen. Perfect private getaway spot close to town. Enjoy quiet relaxation away from the crowd. Joins National Park property. If you like hiking, it’s close by. If you like biking a trail, it’s by your door. If you like a country hoedown they got one in Floyd, only 4 miles down a country lane. And then, when you’re done doing all that, you can settle back in at the Sleepy Bear, relax on the porch and listen to the birds and the breeze.

This cabin is so cute and is in a great spot. I was only 10 minutes from downtown Floyd but right off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Saddle Overlook nearby was one of the most beautiful overlooks of the Blue Ridge Parkway I’ve ever seen, and I grew up local to the parkway but father north. It was clean and well-equipped. Plenty of blankets and spots to curl up and relax. Having the big ottoman in there was nice to put my feet up after spending the day sightseeing. AC worked great, which was wonderful because it was a hot weekend. I saw a lot of wildlife, butterflies, and stars. Adored the rocking chairs on the porch. I can’t wait to come back some time! Great stay :)

Perfect little cabin for 2 people. Easy check in, easy check out. We love to visit friends in Floyd and this will be our new go to!

This little cabin was perfect for the two of us. We had an awesome Floyd Va weekend get away. Its a very quiet area within 5 miles of town. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.
