Our very spacious lodging was originally built as an artists studio. We kept the open concept with amazing sky lights and lighting in the kitchen and shower room. Windows in the front of the studio face Lake Superior. Sleeping space is separated from dining and living space. In addition, the shower room is separated from the toilet room to accommodate better usage of facilities. Deck on the Lake is available to guests.
Recently added is an electric fireplace for that comfy feeling after a long day hiking or other outside activities.
I am pet friendly. Pets must be kenneled if left alone at all. You must provide your own kennel. Please relieve your dogs often to avoid accidents on my carpets. I charge $100 for damage fee for any and all urine accidents.
We have a kitchen with stove and oven. We also have provided a Keurig coffee maker, a hot water pot, an electric fry pan, microwave, instant pot, and refrigerator.
WiFi is available but no tv service.

The Studio was perfect for me, my husband and our dog. It is a nice and quiet place, with a view of the lake from the kitchen table. It is located just off of 61 and had a nice road to walk our dog. It is less than 5 minutes from Grand Marias, so close to restaurants and state parks. Lynn was a great host and communication was awesome. We would stay here again.

Logistically perfect for our interests in the area. To create a better level of comfort for staying in the studio cleaning needs attention. A tv would be a positive.
