The Terrace at Pelican Beach Resort is a beautifully designed vacation complex set within a 15-acre tropical oasis located in the heart of Destin. This location puts you within minutes and even walking distance from many activities, restaurants and shops. Great for families and the young at heart.

The living and dining areas are open and roomy with splashes of coastal whimsey. Off the living area is an abundant wrap-around balcony for morning coffee, evening beverages, or just to linger and appreciate the lake and Gulf views.
The master bedroom is off the living area and has access to the wrap-around balcony as well. You'll wake to views of the Gulf before meandering into your private bath. Here you will find a luxurious full shower with barn-style glass doors.

This property was very nice. The wrap around deck was the perfect place for morning coffee and evening conversation. The sofa was exceptionally comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The walk to the beach was a short one, simply through a parking lot since the condo is on the beach side. We were only here for three nights, but it was a positive experience. We were able to walk to a Dunkin Donuts for an iced coffee and a pancake house is also very close by, but other than that, there were very few people walking on this very busy road. You will want a car to get around in. Usually, we see people riding bicycles at the beach, but did not witness a single one here. This area has a faster paced vibe.Our only complaint involved the checking in process. It was lengthy. First, we had to take credentials to a building several miles away. Next, we drove to our particular community and went to another high rise to provide credentials again. Thirdly, we had to call a phone number which was emailed to us to get the door code. On our second day, the code stopped working and the nice lady on the phone couldn’t get it working, saying it shouldn’t change, so we left for the day without our items which were locked in the condo. We returned in the evening and the lady got it to work. The same thing happened with the gate code, trapping families on the beach while they reset it.This owner provided a lovely home and we are thankful, but check-in and codes need some tweaks.

The property management company was very responsive and helpful. Unfortunately, we did encounter a few kinks with check-in, our door being left open by the HOA & cleaning & maintenance attempting to enter with no advance notification. With that said, the management company did the best they could to resolve the issues. The unit itself was fantastic and a short walk to the beach.
