About this cabin rental
Beautiful fully furnished Luxury Cabin on 3 plus acres, located 25-30 minutes north of Beavers Bend on the Upper Mountain Fork River in the Kiamichi Mountains. Come relax in the hot tub and enjoy the peace and quite this fully furnished cabin offers. Deer Run is a 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin with beautiful hand made aspen log beds. Bedroom # 1 offers a King Log bed, bedroom 2 & 3 both have beautiful Queen Log beds. Large living room with Satellite (Direct TV) and Blue Ray DVD Player with 100's of movies and surround sound. Upgraded Super Fast Fiber Optic Wifi (added January 2025) for those who must work remotely from the cabin or for streaming needs. Smart TV's for streaming your favorite apps in each bedroom. Utility room has full size Washer and Dryer. The Large back deck with River view is a great place to sit and listen to the river flow and watch the stars & wildlife. Smoker/Grill for those who wish to cook outdoors. Bring your marsh mellows and enjoy the fire pit under the stars. Fire wood is provided. Large front porch over looks a beautifully manicured property to relax and watch wildlife. Deer, foxes, squirrels, hummingbirds and a occasional black bear are home to the area. Private access to the Mountain fork river is just minutes away where you can enjoy fishing, swimming and kayaking. Kayaks, paddles and life vest are available during season, and are subject to unavailability during inclement weather, high or rising river levels and cold temperatures.
For off property entertainment, Deer Run is centrally located about 25-30 minutes from Hochatown where guests can find unlimited options and activities. Visit the Maze, Luxury putt putt, go carting, petting zoo, wineries, breweries, Lake Broken Bow, Beavers Bend State Park, horse back riding, restaurants, shopping, hiking, fishing and or even a trip to the brand new Choctaw Landing Casino, if you are feeling lucky!
Deer Run is also conveniently located only 25 miles from the Talimena Scenic Drive where guests can enjoy a beautiful drive along the Rich Mountains. Photography, hiking and a visit to Queen Wilhelmina State park are a must!

Beautiful place - someone took a lot of time to landscape. Inside was cozy! Just make sure you know the difference between riverview & riverside! This has a riverview. I had stayed in the Legacy Trails cabins before and at that time was riverside soooo I assumed this was too! It was still beautiful & relaxing, but I would have preferred the riverside instead of the riverview. Just an opinion!

Let me start this off by saying this is the cleanest cabin we have been too and in our 30 years of coming up this way, and we have been to a lot. They put in top notch everything and keep it immaculate. This cabin couldn't be more equipped. There were things you need and then some. The outdoor area is so much better than pictured, with multiple areas to sit, eat and enjoy. The hot tub was a nice addition at the end of the day. Phone service and wifi was perfect. Right up the road is access to the river for kayaks or fishing, however there is no access at the actual cabin property. Beautiful lawn and landscaping. Bring your bocce ball sets and have a blast. Outdoor games such as ladder golf, cornhole and connect 4 provided. Hosts are beyond receptive and available. This is a great place to just come and relax and have peace.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The cabin and property was like being in a slice of heaven for a few days. The hosts were absolutely wonderful and communicative. The landscaping gorgeous as well as the cabin inside and out! It was a perfect get away and so serene, peaceful and relaxing! It was just what we needed. We were so grateful for this opportunity! Oh and the deer running across the yard was beautiful to watch! We loved it and really hope to return again! Hot tub was perfect! Can’t say enough. Very family friendly as well!

Deer Run is taken care of with such care and love which can be seen through even the smallest details. The themed antler decor inside and outside, signs with the perfect cabin messages, and many vases with flowers in every room. Lastly, but our favorite part, is the outdoor beautifully manicured areas, flower beds, and lighting for safety and ambience. We enjoyed using the provided outdoor games, the hot tub, the comfortable fire pit with plenty of provided wood, and the ability to listen to the sounds of the woods and even the river below. Amazing cabin and host that responds quickly to any questions. Highly recommend!
