Welcome to Sunset Point Cottage by the lake! Relax and enjoy your stay at this beautifully appointed and chic cottage located right on the water's edge of South Center Lake.
The cottage features two small bedrooms: one with a full bed and a second with bunk beds. Additionally, there is a sleeper sofa in the living room, providing a sleeping capacity of up to six guests, though it is most comfortable for four.
You'll find excellent swimming and fishing opportunities right off the dock, and you'll have full access to our paddle boat and canoe to explore this stunning full recreational chain of lakes.
Just minutes away is downtown Lindstrom, where you can enjoy shopping and dine at various eateries and restaurants. The picturesque downtown area of Taylors Falls and the St. Croix River are only 10 to 15 minutes away.
This cottage is situated on a quiet, low-traffic road and boasts water frontage on both sides of the property. Come be our guest!

Overall, the stay was good. It’s what I would expect from a small cabin. The only big problem was the beds. The bottom bunk was unusable. It sunk in so far in the middle even my 9 year old couldn’t lay in it comfortably. The main bed also sinks in a lot in the middle. I was sleeping in it with a baby so it wasn’t too bad but I think 2 adults would probably fall into the middle.There was some small issues that weren’t a huge deal but worth mentioning. The paddle boat was really messy and we had to wipe off the bench on the dock because of all the spider webs. The info in the book needs to be updated. All the clocks other than the main analog one were wrong. We had to take one of the chairs off the patio because it was broken and the others are probably on their way out. Other than the beds, nothing major, just minor annoyances. The kitchen had everything we needed and overall everything in the cabin was clean. The fireplace heater was nice for rainy movie nights. Also, the air conditioner is great in the main living area but on hot nights we needed to get small fans for the rooms. Overall, it was nice. The views from the windows were lovely and the area was quiet and peaceful.

This was such a cute little cabin. Please know that the pirmary bedroom is just a bed in a room without much room for anything else. This was more than fine for me. The view of the lake and sitting out of the dock was wonderful, beautiful, and relaxing.

Great place inside and out for making memories with the grandkids. Clean and stocked with everything we needed, plus. The beach is perfect for playing in the sand or in the water. We enjoyed each day. Thank you for hosting us
