About this house rental
This cozy 1 bed, 1 bath bungalow provides the perfect retreat while located just a mile south of Gregory Town's center. Fall asleep to sounds of the ocean, and wake up to beautiful ocean views without even getting out of bed.
There is a loft space above the queen size bed for storing luggage or whatever else you might like to tuck away. The walkthrough bathroom leads into a small kitchen fully equipped with everything you'll need to prepare your own meals. Exit through the kitchen to find an enclosed outdoor, hot water shower. The back entrance provides the perfect solution for rinsing off the salt and sand before coming in from a day at the beach.
The bungalow does have air conditioning for those hot Bahamian days, or you also have the option of screen doors and ceiling fans when it's a little cooler out.
Our entire property is solar powered, so when it comes to electricity, we are completely off-grid. We ask that you please conserve energy whenever possible by making sure to turn off all inside lights, fans and A/C each time you leave the bungalow.
The bungalow is connected to city water, but for those days when the city water may go out, we'll always have a full water tank on reserve for our guests.
Our property consists of just under 5 acres of land stretching from The Queen's Highway to the cliffs overlooking the beautiful turquoise waters of Exuma Sound. While bush, cactus, palmettos, and rocks line most of the cliff's edge, there is no actual fence or wall. There is an 80 foot straight drop from the cliff to the ocean below. For this reason, children under 18 will not be permitted on the property. All renters must be at least 25 years of age. Because of our clifftop location, there is no direct access to the water from our property. The famous Surfer's Beach is the closet beach to the bungalow, located just under 2 miles south. Gaulding Cay Beach is about 3.5 miles north.
From our property, it's about a 25 minute drive north to the North Eleuthera Airport, and it's about a 30 minute drive south to Governor's Harbour Airport.

The hosts were very accommodating to all of our needs and questions! Thoughtful details were put into this and provided, beach chairs, umbrella, seasonings and basics for cooking. The view is spectacular, sunset view from the bed! The energy here is top notch and the A frame is an inspirational design for anyone interested in off grid living! Looking forward to coming back!

I truly can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Eluthera. The hosts, Molly and Robert, are kind and communicative. The setting is absolutely stunning. The ocean views are better than one can imagine. When we come to Eluthera again, we won’t hesitate to book here!
