The owner was very flexible with check in and check out time. The property was very well equipped, and the fishing was great.

This was a VERY last minute trip with my family. And the owners went over & beyond to make it happen for us. The house had everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and our family of 5 loved having 2 huge, bathrooms. If we come back to the area; we would definitely stay here again.

The property appears new. When we first entered, it appeared very clean; however, when wiping up an ice cube that was melting on the floor, the paper towel was brown. It didn't appear that the floor was mopped prior to us arriving. The police were called the first night we were there due to the owners believing that no one should be renting that night. Owner did call and apologize. The grass had not been mowed so that made sense if they didn't think anyone was due. Someone was coming the next day to mow then for us. They mowed just around the fire pit and nothing else. The chairs and logs left left around the fire pit were left in place. I know this isn't the owners fault. Was just disappointed in a few things. The dock has no power so we couldn't leave our boat there. The landing nearby is a tricky one. You're coming in on the side of the "arm" with no dock as well. Maneuvering this landing would have been difficult. Locals advised us of a better landing to use. This would be a great place to stay for ATV use - we wish we had brought our ATV vs our boat. Trails right along the main road.
No additional amenities provided. No bar soap, there was only enough laundry soap to really do a load and half (was willing to wash more for them but no soap). They may not rent it out every week because the fridge and freezer were bare. Every VRBO we've stayed at previously have more "leftovers" from previous guests. Basic condiments, sunscreen etc. Nothing here.
