About this cabin rental
Welcome to Sawtooth Mountain Hideaway and this exquisite log home. It may be tucked into the woods in a very private fashion but it's still nice and close to all of the amenities that one may need while vacationing on the North Shore. The wilderness awaits right out the front door. Hop onto the Superior Hiking Trail or the Sugarbush Cross-Country Ski Trail system. They are both just a few minutes away! The snowmobile trail access is only a mile up the road and its a 5 minute drive to Lutsen Mountains ski area. Don't forget to bring your bikes along as the paved state trail is accessible just 30 seconds away. There's absolutely nothing wrong with simply staying in and enjoying the incredible Lake Superior views off of the expansive deck. Relax in front of the fireplace or enjoy some time together in the 4-season porch. There is a master suite on the upper level of the home, a large bedroom on the main level of the home with a bathroom across the hall and two bedrooms with a full bath across the hall in the lower level. The kids will absolutely love the bunk bed room! There is a custom-built bar in the lower level, too, along with a large TV for streaming movies and shows. How perfect is it that there are Lake Superior views from each and every level!? Enjoy the outdoor firepit but please note that you'll need to supply your own firewood. Several local convenience stores sell it so it's easy to get. The comfort level, the decor, the perfect layout, the custom-made tables and bar, the true attention to detail, the convenient location, the lake views...you cannot beat it.

This is a very nice cabin. It was very clean and well represented when we arrived. Beautiful views. Very comfortable. It is only 5 miles to Lutsen, so easy access to the hill. The only thing I would consider, is updating the TV. The apps are very outdated and the HDMI ports would not accept a ROKU stick simply because the stick would not physically fit. We were able to hook up a laptop to watch Youtube TV for the NCAA tournament, but it was a little awkward.
