About this house rental
Updated townhouse at Glaciers' Reach, the Whistler Village premier location, minutes away from ski lifts, grocery stores, coffee shops, lakes, bike and trails. Perfect vacation home for families of 4 and couples looking for a romantic getaway.
This unit is situated over three floors, with kitchen/living on second floor and main bedroom on the third. Secure, underground parking is included at site.
Our space is modern, bright and fresh. There's a stocked kitchen and private BBQ for your stay. The main bedroom has a queen bed and air conditioning unit, while the section in the living room coverts to a queen bed.
We love the big open deck that has a comfy sectional, perfect for relaxing after a day out in the warmer months. Please note: the deck is not open during ski season.

Great location and communication. Property has described. There was a slight cooking smell from previous guests but the unit had aromatherapy items on site which took care of the issue. Recommended

I appreciated a lot of nice touches--excellent and complete set of dishes, pots, pans utensils, cutlery, boxes of tissues here and there as well as keurigs, copious outlets in convenient places. The free, covered, secure parking is a bonus. Also, the place is quiet, since it does not front on Lorimer Way. Though you can hear other guests in their hottubs and at the pool, it's not a major issue because there are strict noise policies. The location is excellent: just a one minute or less walk to the free #4 bus that will have you at the Whistler base in two more minutes. Plus, an excellent grocery store is just across Lorimer Way.

I don't usually leave reviews, but we loved our stay. The property is right across the street from the shuttle to the mountain. We also never used our car and walked to all dining and shopping. The outdoor pool and hot tub were amazing after a long day of skiing. We also loved the layout of the unit! Joanna made the check in process seamless. Cant say enough good things about this place!

Things I liked
- communication: host did a good job at communicating checkin and checkout process although some items like the parking pass was in the kitchen and not by the door as stated.
- spacious: spacious townhouse that would be ideal for 2 people, a bit cramped for any more.
- kitchen supplies: lots of kitchen utensils, didn't need to worry about buying anything additional supplies.
- distance and privacy: right across the main village, North facing townhouse, you don’t get any direct sunlight throughout the day (could be a +/- depending if on preference). Lots of privacy.
Things that could be improved
- cleanliness: not as clean as I hoped, noticed some crumbs on the couch and spider webs at the entrance area. Some dishes were also dirty.
- transparency: the main balcony is under construction, as in the glass pane had broke, so there was a ply board to cover it up. The main reason for choosing this suite was the balcony, so I would have preferred to have known about this before booking the suite not after (seller messaged me abt it after).
- checkout process: the checkout process requires a few things from the guest like throwing out the trash and starting the dishwasher load. Personally I believe that if I am paying a hefty cleaning fee that that should be covered.
