About this cottage rental

This character filled, coastal miners cottage has over 150 years of history in its' walls! Built in c1870, Protea Cottage provides a peaceful place to spend your holiday.
Located in the heart of Wallaroo, it's an easy walk into town & to the beach where you'll find great pubs, a distillery, cafe, a grocery store & a bottle shop. Or take a quick drive down to North Beach where you can drive on the beach & enjoy North Beach Kitchen.

Welcome email detailing everything we needed to know on arrival is a fantastic idea. The house was perfect, clean, organised, had everything we needed for a 4 night stay!

This was a very old cottage and as a result, the cleanliness was not up to a standard and therefore the set price was too high. The floor near entry was unstable, a light switch in the kitchen area faulty and standard tv operation was not acceptable. The location was generally good but many houses in the street were unkept; not your responsibility but again should be reflected in the pricing.
