About this house rental
Quaint meticulously restored farmhouse with central AC. Experience the peace and tranquility that comes with a rural getaway. A short drive to antiques, Victory Brewery, Marsh Creek state park, and Amish country, there is something for everyone. Enjoy a large yard, patio, grill, fire pit, and space for the kids! If you are a road biker, we are situated on a popular route and have plenty of parking in our large horseshoe driveway. Relax and enjoy the feel of country life with endless opportunities for fun!

This is a single home with four bedrooms (sleeps 8). Also, while it might appear that there are two front doors or that the property is a twin, it is not - just an old fashioned style to have two front doors! Please know too that as an old home, the inside stairs are VERY STEEP and the only full bathrooms are upstairs.

Great stay. Great hosts. The outside yard was huge, with a large green space, beautiful gardens, well-situated play set (swings) and beautiful deck with firepit and barbecue. They even had dry wood thoughtfully stored! My mom loved the horses located at the property behind this one! Inside the house, it was rustic, but the amenities were new. Specifically appreciated the modern heating and cooling system (one on each floor), the washer/ dryer, everything in the kitchen, and the hot water. Thankfully the house had a bedroom on the first floor, with a bathroom with a toilet and sink, because the stairs to get upstairs were narrow and steep. My elderly mom stayed on the first floor. My teenagers loved that the stairs - one set straight up and one set a corkscrew- were hidden behind doors, and the three bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms upstairs were excellent and well supplied with towels, soap, shampoo, and other essentials. It was a great house for my family, and close to the wedding venue we were attending. For other families: know your kids, because it was a great house and a great yard, with great hosts! -but there were a lot of antiques within easy reach, a lot of doors that went directly outside (kept locked), a lot of outlets and cords because there were few overhead lights. A five star place. I included a picture of the view of the back of the house from the extensive backyard. Thank you for hosting us!

This was the coolest house I had stayed at. So many amazing antiques in this phenomenally kept home. What a wonderful property and kudos to the host for creating a fantastic environment/ experience. 10/10!

This wonderful farmhouse was very comfortable and delightful. We enjoyed the decorative rooms and the kitchen provided all the amenities needed for a lovely farmhouse breakfast. Highly recommend this farmhouse for a nice step back in history with modern amenities. My grandparents loved it!
