The location also makes it easy to get out and explore. Signal Hill, Cape Spear, Petty Harbour and other St. John's-area highlights are all within an easy drive, while nearby road connections make day trips beyond the city straightforward.

For those travelling with a dog—or simply looking to get outside—there are parks, walking routes and trails in the surrounding area. Bowring Park is a wonderful park for walking and summer activities with extensive river trails. (It is only a 4 min drive from the house)

Detailed driving directions are sent three days before arrival, with check-in instructions sent at 12 PM the day before your stay.

About the Apartment

This is a private lower-level apartment within an occupied family home. From the driveway, guests walk down a set of exterior stairs to reach the private entrance.

Because the home is built on a slope, the front of the apartment—including the kitchen and living area—is above grade and receives natural light, while the bedroom sits more below grade.

As this is part of an occupied home, you may hear normal household activity from above, including footsteps and morning activity. We share this upfront so you can decide whether the space is the right fit for your stay.
