Overall the stay was awesome. Property was clean, spacious, private and absolutely met our expectations. With that said a couple of nuances that I’m sure the host will correct the documentation.The pool/spa reviews were inaccurate as we were expecting a less than heated pool and spa with the “solar heat” comments. Maybe the property was upgraded because the pool and spa are controlled with an app tied to the pool/spa mechanicals. Key to note, the spa and pool are controlled separately BUT together. Meaning only one of the two can be operating at the same time. I contacted the host after 1 week of our 2 plus week stay and was able to navigate how to control the temp/pumps on the spa/pool. Would have been great to get this info immediately. Will discuss communication below.The trash pickup day was moved from Monday to Tuesday without any notice. The containers had trash from the previous guests. We had over a week of personal garbage with 7 people in home. Filled the containers and the trash pickup service didn’t happen as documented on Monday. Communication: Called the host number on VRBO. No answer, then a text. Text was terse from what I believe was the maintenance team. Was told after I “messaged” the host listed that I should have known not to “call” but email the host. After a bit of back and forth, everything was resolved.Great stay. Overall a 5 star review once a couple of the details were worked out.

We stayed here for 2.5 weeks with a toddler and a newborn. The sun deck and umbrella were perfect for our toddler to play in the pool all day long. We loved that they had sand toys, a wagon for the beach, and some pool toys too. The house was fantastic and we will definitely be staying again.

The location was very convenient. It was only a 5-8 minute drive to the beach and close to restaurants. The pool and hot tub were great and there was plenty of room for the four of us. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed. However, we re-washed all the dishes before we used them. I grabbed a glass and a bowl, both were sticky with old food/smudges that clearly weren’t clean. The couch in the living room was comfortable. The bedrooms- Understanding it’s very difficult to appease all, the beds were uncomfortable and the pillows seemed very old which made it difficult to relax and get good rest. The TV in the bedroom was missing the power cord so it didn’t work. Our family tends to go through towels pretty quickly, but the house could have supplied more towels. There were 6 beach towels to use which was nice. We were very disappointed the washer had mold in the seal of the drum and in the tray where the detergent dispenses. It was all over and very noticeable, the smell was pungent which indicates it had been there for a while. It didn’t make us feel like we had clean beds or towels. This really needs addressed. The neighborhood is old but felt very safe. We were shocked however when we pulled into the drive, wondering if we were at the right house. The front and overall yard could use much more attention. Overall, we wouldn’t stay here again. For the cost, the house could use much more attention to detail and provide more cleanliness for comfort.
