Essenza es un lugar donde todos los sueños se hacen realidad. Donde todo parece estar escrito por una madrina mágica que pensó en vos y decidió regalarte las mejores vacaciones de tu vida.
El staff fue súper atento, cada detalle parece pensado para que no tengas que preocuparte por absolutamente nada, y tu habitación está literalmente dentro de la piscina.
Nuestros días eran desayunos increíbles, lectura, y después… después ya ni puedo recordar. Estaba tan extasiado que mi mente se perdía en un letargo interminable de placer.
No sé si fueron vacaciones, un sueño o una experiencia religiosa. Solo sé que no quería que terminara.
Lo único que no estuvo a la altura fue el WiFi: pésimo, realmente pésimo. Prácticamente imposible conectarse desde cualquier lugar del hotel.
Tuve que tomar una videollamada laboral muy importante —porque soy una persona muy importante— desde la recepción, sentado como si estuviera haciendo un check-in de una hora. Una experiencia poco compatible con la madrina mágica que había diseñado el resto de mis vacaciones.

Very loud, intrusive music all day long and well into the night. If what you want is a relaxing, peaceful holiday, nature, the sound of waves or birds the place is NOT for you. It is impossible to escape the rather dreadful pop music even if you tightly close all doors /windows in your apartment. Sadly, multiple requests to put the volume down at least a bit, have not produced any noticeable result.
The opinion that guests reserving rooms on booking.com often get the worst rooms proved right in the Essenza. The I was first checked into was located just behind the kitchen. On top of the loud music came banging of pots and pans, juice extractor working, staff shouting to each other. Only after I complained I was offered another room, away from the kitchen.
On the day before my departure I asked if I could check out a bit later - 1345 instead of 1200. I was told I could stay but only till 1330. Why the extra 15 minutes would make such a difference in a hotel where a lot of rooms seemed empty, is beyond me. And my electronic key was blocked at 1200, anyway.
