Wake up to beautiful Lily Rock views from this, multi-level 4-bedroom, 3-bath mountain retreat with room for up to 8 guests. Within walking distance of the Village, it’s a great fit for family vacations, weekends with friends, or anyone who wants space to spread out while staying close to town.
Enjoy coffee on the large deck, take in the views from inside the home, or relax in one of the outdoor seating areas. The gated yard gives kids and pets extra room outside, while the BBQ and outdoor dining areas make it easy to spend more of your vacation in the fresh mountain air.
Inside, gather around the wood-burning fireplace, enjoy multiple TVs with Apple TV, or play music through the overhead Bluetooth speaker in the bar area. At the end of the day, unwind in the private hot tub beneath the Idyllwild sky.
With multiple levels, generous gathering spaces, mountain views, and a walk-to-town location, this home gives families and groups the room to relax, reconnect, and enjoy Idyllwild at their own pace.

This vacation rental is equipped with air-conditioning.
-Cancellations: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund, with a $150.00 cancellation charge. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund plus a $150.00 cancellation charge.
No Cancellations are Allowed for stays booked for November, December, and January.
- Pets: We do allow dogs; however, please note that there is a fee of $35 per dog per night. Bringing more than one dog requires prior approval and may incur additional fees. Other pets may be considered with prior approval, and a flat per-stay pet fee may apply instead of the nightly fee, depending on the property and length of stay. For reservations made through third-party sites such as Airbnb, once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a separate payment request for any approved pet fees, which must be paid separately.
- Rental agreement: Please review our rental agreement for our house rules. You will receive an emailed version to sign, but if you prefer other options, please inquire.
-Spa: During colder weather, the soft tub temperature may range between 85°F–100°F and may not consistently exceed 100°F due to outdoor temperatures. This is normal in mountain conditions and does not indicate a malfunction. Please keep the cover securely closed when not in use to help maintain heat.
- Check-in instructions: We now offer self-check-in. On your arrival day, the reserving guest will receive a text with check-in instructions between 3:30 and 4:00 PM. Please stop by our office to retrieve your key from the lockbox.
Parking: Free parking is available for 3 vehicles (Seasonal Restrictions Apply; chains are recommended in winter, and 4X4 is HIGHLY Recommended).
- County permit number: 001694
- Age restrictions: Due to the new County of Ordinance 927.2, we no longer accept reservations for anyone under 21. Those under 25 will provide an additional insurance for $70.00 non-refundable on the day of arrival.
Seasonal wood delivery: There is a $28 fee per bundle (approximately 20 pieces) if available. Please provide at least 5 days' notice for a Friday arrival date or at least 3 days' notice for any other day of the week. Please note that there are no refunds for this service.
- Confirmation: Upon booking this property through Airbnb, New Spirit Vacation Homes will send you a direct email confirming your reservation. Attached to this confirmation will be a contract you need to review, sign, and send back within 24 hours.
- Incidentals: We reserve the right to request payment for any incidentals. This includes but is not limited to firewood, pet fees, special occasion requests, personal grocery drop-offs, pay-per-view movies or sporting events, and damaged property.

The views from the decks of this property are spectacular and the home offers a perfect balance for those who want to be near the action (it's walkable), yet far enough away that you aren't bothered by the noise of the main streets. The beds are comfortable and the home is spacious - the property has the potential to be amazing.The home itself is in need of some TLC. The home could use some repair/upgrades and upkeep inside and outside, a restocking of basic supplies and most importantly a thorough deep clean. This property is a value for a large group with dog(s) looking to split costs. Otherwise, for smaller parties, it feels overpriced given the current condition. The property manager was very responsive and addressed our inquiries quickly.

Great location but...
- Outdoor patio furniture dusty/dirty, not useable until cleaned
- BBQ didn't work (propane not issue, burners didn't work)
- mouse in the house!
