About this house rental
Greenstone cottage is located in the heart of Lake Country in the lovely community of Oconomowoc, "the City with two lakes". Oconomowoc is conveniently located to Milwaukee (35 minutes) or Madison (50 minutes). This 100 year old cottage home is loved and lived in. Here you can relax and enjoy the convenient two block walk to great experiences; such as casual or fine dining, shopping specialty shops, the board walk on Fowler Lake offers: comfortable seating for visiting, relaxing, also fishing, kayaking launching pad, boat docking, Lake la Bell beach is fabulous for swimming, boat rentals, and evening music at the band shell. You can enjoy the experience of many festivals in the city green or local park through out the seasons.

We were in town to do some wedding planning and stayed at this cottage. We found it to be very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The cottage was filled with all sorts of treasures and history. I wish I would have had more time to study all the pictures and books and the many items that were throughout the house. The yard was charming and a great place for our morning coffee. The location was perfect for all the running around we needed to do and then we could walk to dinner in downtown Oconomowoc. Carol was great to work with and responded quickly. I hope to stay here again sometime.

Very clean and welcoming from fresh flowers and coffee, eggs and English muffins in the fridge to chocolate in the candy dishes - lovely garden and patio areas. Well kept - we felt like we were in a proper English cottage. Very walkable location - close to great boutique shopping, great restaurants, parks & lakes slept like a baby with the windows open well stocked kitchen - just like home highly recommend this lovely cottage - it was perfect for the 3 of us - we each had our own room

Carol was a wonderful and communicative host. The Cottage was very cute, comfortable, and made us feel right at home. The location was within walking distance to multiple restaurants and coffee shops, and was an easy drive to/from the airport. We were in town for a bonspiel at the Kettle Moraine Curling Club and the cottage was a perfect spot for our trip - would absolutely stay here again in the future!
