We could not have been more pleased with our London accommodations. The flat was definitely roomy enough for the 3 of us, with comfortable furnishings (the beds were great!) and some nice additional touches (such as welcoming candy and cookies and some basic coffee and teas already in the cupboards). There were even face cloths available in the bathrooms -- a rarity in England (in my previous experience). Our host was a wonderful communicator and very responsive to questions before and during our stay. I never had to wait more than an hour or two to hear back from him, and he reached out to us a day or two after check-in to be sure we were satisfied with things so far. What's App was a good means of communication.Our stay occurred during a brief London heat wave, but the host made sure there were 2 portable air conditioning units and an additional fan in the flat before we got there. When we had a brief problem with one unit, it was quickly remedied. When I inquired about a user's manual for the combination washer/dryer, he readily found and provided one online. (Having had a previous challenging experience with a similar machine, I found that manual was a real gift!) This flat's location was perfect for us -- on a quiet street but near decent shopping, some good restaurants, and only a 5-10 minute from an Underground station. We'd definitely consider staying here again should we return to London.
