This attractive apartment belongs to a luxurious condominium complex called "Los Palmares" located on the south shore of Puerto Vallarta, just at 6 km from the center of this famed Mexican town, and above the beautiful white sand beach of Playa Blanca where you can enjoy romantic walks or dip into the crystal-clear warm ocean water of the bay.
You can enjoy your stay at a this 3 bedroom, 4 bathrooms condo with 2,200 square foot of luxury living fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, blender etc) with modern appliances, plasma TV's, WiFi, laundry (washer-dryer), concierge and optional services including a housekeeper, chef, nanny and masseuses.
The Los Palmares condominium development offers all the amenities you can imagine, a gym, guest laundry services at the pool level, outdoor common BBQ area to use as well as a large palapa-covered common area, WIFI in all the common areas, luggage dropoff for early or late arrivals and departures, and free parking on the premises.
It has easy access to the large infinity pool, the spa and the children’s shallow pool since it is on the 2nd floor. Just a few steps below the pool you can enter to the beach and blue Pacific waters of the Bahia de Banderas. The walk-in is gradual and a great place for wading, swimming, and surfing. In the mornings and evenings, the pelicans circle and fish for hours along with those guests who want to try their luck. And then there’s that amazing sunset to enjoy from your front row seat of one of your private decks.
In addition to all of this, there is a restaurant and the use is limited to only owners and their guests. It is open 7:30 am to 3:30 pm daily serving very nice complete breakfasts, diverse lunches and cocktails and other beverages. It is open-air and located just above the pool in a lovely Mexican palapa.
Bedding:
2 master bedrooms with king size bed and private patio
1 bedroom with 2 double beds, ample closet and drawer storage
Each bedroom is large and there is plenty of floor space and an open-feeling. Each of the 3 bedrooms has its own insuite full bathroom.
Linens and towels are provided. A laundry/utility room is also included in the wonderful design of this condo. The main living area is open and airy. The terrace is the perfect place for sunbathing, dining and watching the incredible views of the beach.

- Kitchen: All the essentials for meal prep with pots, pans, utensils, dishware and silverware. Coffee pot, electric kettle, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, etc.

The condo has a fantastic view of the beach and ocean. 12 to 25 minute drive to town based on traffic. On site staff fantastic!

We stayed here with two families, five kids total. if you like to hear the ocean waves at night, you'll be in heaven. Bedrooms were spacious and private. The in-building staff made the place feel like a hotel in terms of desk people answering questions and the cleaner being kind and thorough. The property managers were also very helpful and reasonably prompt when responding to any questions we had.
The pool was great-right at the beach, lots of lounge chairs, enough shallow water for the kids to play. We were able to get into town by taking the nearby bus. It was a 25 minute ride. A taxi stand is nearby as well. One thing to know, there aren't a lot of restaurants within walking distance. We cooked many of our meals so that wasn't too bad for us. We utilized the condo restaurant for a couple breakfast and lunches, which the kids loved.

Overall, this was not the seamless rental experience we expected given the price. Detailed review as follows:
Pros:
- Oceanfront location
- Nice pool
- Stylishly and comfortably furnished unit
- Safe parking
- Gym access available (and no one else seemed to use it, nice to not have to share during Covid times)
Cons:
- When we arrived, the Wifi internet was not working in the unit. It took until the next day to be repaired (not a great experience for those who do not have cell plans including Mexico)
- No drinking water available upon arrival (we had to ask for a can of water to be delivered)
- Many things in the unit in need of repair-- one toilet not flushing, sink in one bathroom leaking, range hood not functional, etc. Not deal-breakers, but upon arrival we felt we needed to go around and try everything so that we could report the multiple problems to the property manager. To their credit, they fixed the big ones (water and internet) within 24 hrs.
- The listing states there is an on-site restaurant. During our stay it was closed due to lack of staff. This is less than ideal because the hotel is around a 10-15 min drive from PV where you can access other restaurants.
- They did not provide soap or shampoo for guest use. Again, a small thing, but it would make the place seem homier to have these.
In summary, don't arrive here hungry, thirsty, or dirty. Come prepared and you will enjoy. Or, better yet, book another place so you don't have to worry about these details on your vacation.
