Cozy Luxury in a lovely home in Caledonia town - shooting location of the famous romantic ‘Mistletoe Lake’ movie. Caledonia is only a 13-minute drive away from the Hamilton International Airport . Budget & Avis car rentals available in the Caledonia area. Also available are eateries like Wendy’s, Osmow’s Shawarma Grills … etc. The Feastify phone app enables ordering for home delivery. Eateries are also within 5-minutes walk from home. Caledonia is 20 minutes drive from Hamilton, and about 1hr. 15 min. drive from wonder filled Niagara Falls and also minutes drive from significantly discounted Indigenous gas bars. Caledonia is peaceful, fun and historic. Picnic, walk, drive or bike to explore Caledonia, Ontario which is rich with history and perfect for taking scenic walking tours or venturing off and snapping stunning photos. The Caledonia Bridge was built in 1927 and is iconic for being built in record time of 140 days. It is now the only 9-span bridge in Canada a national treasure.

The listing says there are two bedrooms, but when you book it is for one bedroom and somebody else may be staying in the other room. It is not a private accommodation, which I suspected due to the price, but it wasn't clear from the listing, so you may be sharing the bathroom and open area. The host is pleasant and the place is generally clean, except the microwave and toaster oven. There is a "kitchenette" listed, but don't count on cooking anything. It was nice that there was a desk/chair provided in the room, as I had to work each day I was there. Access to laundry was also nice.
