Our fully renovated private lakefront cottage is a peaceful Central Florida excape for couples and small families who want more than a place to sleep. Spend the morning paddling across the spring-fed lake, fish from the dock, relax in the hot tub overlooking the water, or enjoy a glass of wine from the wrap-around screened lanai as the sun goes down.

BRING YOUR BOAT - Boaters and waterskiers are welcome! Bring your own boat and enjoy the lake from our private dock and boathouse. Waterskiers will especially appreciate the TWO tournament slalom courses (requires additional communications prior to arrival: there is NO PUBLIC access on this lake - providing ideal conditions).

Don't have a boat? We've got you covered. Your stay INCLUDES use of 2 kayaks, 2 stand up paddleboards, and a large canoe, so you can be on the water without renting equipment or hauling your own.

Inside, the cottage is bright, comfortable and completely updated, with an open kitchen and living area overlooking the lake, excellent air conditioning, comfortable beds and everything you need to settle in (our 5 star reviews state we are well appointed).

Outside is where this cottage really shines: a private dock and boathouse, lakeside hot tub, fire pit, deck and wraparound screened lanai give you plenty of places to enjoy the view from morning to night.

Watch bald eagles, pelicans and herons fishing the shore; Paddle past herons and egrets along the shoreline; Cast a line at dusk, soak in the hot tub under the stars, or simply sit on the lanai with a book and enjoy how quiet the lake becomes in the evening.

And when you're ready to explore, your still close to everything Central Flroida has to offer. Montverde Academy is within walking distance, Bella Collina golfing is minutes away, and downtown Clermont, Minneola, Winter Garden, golf, cycling and Olando's major attractions are all within easy reach. We have MILES of bike trails!

NOTE: Maximum occupancy AT ANY TIME is = 4. No guests of guests. No unregistered guests.

Because this is a small private lakefront property with water-sports equipment, ONLY registered guests may use or visit the property unless we provide written approval in advance. Parties and events ARE NOT permitted. Violation of house rules will mean immediate cancellation of the rental agreement w/no refund and/or extra per person guest fee of $100/per person over 4 maximum.

NEARBY AMENITIES: Clermont's Waterfront Park with white sandy beach and lakeside restaurants, bike path; Clermont Olympic Training Center, new Minneola Crooked Can Brewery & music venue, cycling, world-class golfing and more. The town of Montverde is within walking distance and within Kirk Park there are 4 new pickleball courts, 2 new tennis courts and 2 lakeside parks: one on Lake Florence and the other on Lake Apopka (Truskette Park) in addition to a public boat launch on to Lake Apopka.

A hidden gem is the Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive and trails (check hours, currently open weekends and holidays only)-- rated 3rd nationally for birding, but other wildlife like bobcat and gators make LAWD home too.

Nearby Golf: King's Ridge, Clermont National, Forest Lake and Legends Golf Courses.

SECURITY CAMERAS: We have one outdoor actively recording camera overlooking the front driveway towards the street that records video; a second outdoor actively recording camera that aims at the dock structure and kayak/paddleboard rack that records video. We use this camera to monitor the watersports equipment only (to assure equipment is secure). This camera CAN NOT view the hot tub, deck or anywhere towards the house past the beach.
