Welcome to Roo’s House! This 860 sq foot accommodation in the lower level of a private residence, offers two bedrooms and one bathroom. Additionally, you have a full size washer/dryer, brand new kitchen appliances including dishwasher and Insinkerator/garburator. The suite is fully wheelchair accessible with wide hallways and doorways. The kitchen is fully stocked with all your cooking and baking needs. The suite has air conditioning and heating via a heat pump. There is a south facing private patio and garden area for rest and relaxation. There is parking for 2 vehicles and some street parking for your visitors.
Roo’s House is centrally located in the Capital Region. It is 15-20 minutes from the downtown core, 10 minutes to the Westshore, 20 minutes to UVIC, 25 minutes to the airport and 30 minutes to the BC Ferry terminal. You are 2 blocks from the Galloping Goose commuter bike trail and are surrounded by trail systems and parks for your walking or running enjoyment.
This is a non-smoking, non-vaping property.

This is a beautifully appointed 2bedroom private suite with heated bathroom floors and a fantastic back private patio with BBQ. All the little extras have been thoughtfully added; fresh pastries from a local bakery, welcome book with everything you could possibly need information on, a tea and coffee bar, some cold drinks in the fridge.
If you have children, there are games, books etc.

This property and the host were amazing. Quiet, close to the cool stuff in Victoria, immaculate and welcoming. It's the best VRBO I have ever stayed in --by far. Only sad part is that I didn't get to met Roo!

What a perfect spot for the weekend. We were a perfect distance from downtown Victoria. The unit was clean and comfortable. The host left us a tray of local goodies and other helpful items. I use a wheelchair and could navigate everywhere. The bathroom was perfectly suited for me. I wish the weather was warmer in the evenings so we could’ve sat outside because the outside space was lovely. I’d highly recommend and book again if we ever come back to Victoria.

The suite is beautiful, and truly accessible. Doorways, and even the shower, would accomodate a wheelchair. The suite was well thought out, so much so we felt it must have been designed by an Architect! Our cat can attest that the unit was absolutely spotless... pets are allowed, and our cat was NOT detecting the smells of other pets from previous stays. This is excellent as she was very comfortable and not stressed at all. The suite was well appointed both inside and out! And the area was quiet. Had we known how great this suite was, we probably would have stayed longer. Also, you couldn't ask for a better host. We really needed modified check in and check out times due to wedding attendance and having our cat with us... Diane was able to be fully accommodating for us... the cherry on top of our stay! Even a pantry with lots of well thought out extras, and a selection of local baked goodies to welcome us. Wifi was rock solid and fast! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
