The Neighborhood:
Location is unbeatable: just steps from the beach, directly across from public beach access, and perfectly situated between Jennette’s Pier and the Gary Oliver Fishing Pier. You’ll be close to all the best of Nags Head—Jennette’s Pier (1 mile), great restaurants, grocery stores, the NC Aquarium in Manteo, Jockey’s Ridge, Tanger Outlets, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Coquina Beach, Oregon Inlet, and more.
Getting Around:
Nearest airports are RDU (Raleigh Durham, NC) and ORF (Norfolk, VA). A car is the best way to explore the Outer Banks.

This is the place to be if you want a real beach cottage experience. The basics of this property made it feel authentic and exactly the experience I wanted. The host was AMAZING! Great communication and she even set us up in a different cottage for an extra night with minimum hassle.The walk to and access to the beach was easy and our dog absolutely loved lounging around enjoying the ocean breeze on the front porch. This property does have a mini fridge and no stove which made cooking a bit difficult but we managed with a skillet that we brought and the charcoal grill out back. Overall, a wonderful experience.

I have stayed in the OBX four times this year in various houses and hotels. My stay in Bankers Cottage was by far the best stay yet. Great location, private, yet so close to everything! I will be back to stay in this terrific tiny house soon!

My friend and I had a great stay at Bankers Cottage and would book again. We had no problems and enjoyed every minute of the Outer Banks.
