About this house rental
This classic Tahoe three-story home in Alpine Meadows offers four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a garage, a family room, and large deck with seasonal seating that the whole family will love.
On the main level you will find a nice mud room to store all your gear, the living room and dining room with windows and a deck overlooking Bear Creek. Also on the main level, the kitchen is fully stocked with all the pots, pans and utensils to cook a full meal, a small breakfast nook and a full bathroom. Just a half flight of stairs up are two bedrooms and a full bath and just a half flight down, you will find the other two bedrooms and a full bath. The basement area is set up with a television, foosball table, and an exterior door that will take you to the creek in the summer months. Warm-up by the wood stove in the winter, enjoy large gatherings at the ten-person dining table, and enjoy the close proximity to Alpine Meadows and plenty of great hiking, horseback riding and other recreational activities.

* We provide a starting supply of toilet paper, paper towel, and laundry detergent, but recommend bringing extra for longer stays.
* We do not provide shampoo / conditioner / or body wash although there could be some left from previous guests.
* We recommend 4 x 4, AWD, or carrying snow chains in the winter months.
* There is no air conditioning in this rental.
* We do not provide firewood, but it can be purchased at locals shops.

Loved:1. Location and overall spaciousness.2. Access to Mountaineer.3. 2 car garage.4. Three full bathrooms was important (especially because the bathtub was not working--see below)5. The play room in the basement was perfect to entertain the children (foosball and books). A few concerns during our stay but overall experience was still very positive.1. One bathtub and it leaked a significant amount of water between the spout and wall when turned on (docked one star for this). Reported to property manager and received a reply within hours. Couldn't be fixed over the weekend we stayed but there were 2 other functioning showers.2. Bear fence is a bit daunting at first especially with 3 children but it was easy enough to operate and was a non-issue.3. Main level is slow to heat (took 6 hours to go from 55 to 60 degrees) but the bathrooms and bedrooms warmed up quick so we could sleep comfortably the first night.

We had a wonderful time. The house fit 8 of us perfectly, and was very well stocked. There were plenty of towels, toilet paper, and kitchen items. We would've liked to use the deck, but there's just one small table, so we didn't spend any time on the deck, as we all couldn't fit for a meal. Overall, it was exactly as the photos showed!
