1.5 hours north of Chicago, 40 min from Milwaukee
Huge picture windows overlooking the Lake, Natural stone fireplace, open concept living and dining room with a side room
1 bedroom queen bed, side room pull out sleeper sofa sleeps 2, small detached bunkhouse with bunk-beds & led smart TV
Wi-Fi & high-speed internet,3 led flat screen smart TV’s, an assortment of books, DVD movies, games.
Beautiful sunrise and moon rise over the shimmering lake
Star gaze far from city lights on the Lakeside patio with fire pit while roasting marshmallows.
Cottage patio with firepit, weber grill-we supply charcoal, lighter fluid and split firewood :)
kayaks, canoe and life vests for fun on the water and Sandy Beach.
Bring your fishing pole and try your luck at shore fishing and at nearby Harrington state park
Wildlife including Eagles, Fox, Deer, monarch butterflies crossing the Lake on their annual migration, many birds etc.
Restaurants, shopping, interurban bike & hiking trails, Harrington State Park, Kohler Andrae State Park
Golfing at Whistling straights, water park, charter fishing, Road America, Explore Sheboygan & Historic Port Washington, lots of areas to explore and have adventures

Our visit was perfect! The cozy cottage provided the best views of Lake Michigan with what felt like a private beach all to ourselves. The hosts provided a clean house, kitchen was stocked with everything we needed (dishes, silverware, cups, etc.) and extra amenities like snacks, water, and fire pit accessories. We will absolutely be visiting again!

We absolutely loved our time at the lake! Alan and Linda are so attentive to details. We appreciated all the little touches they left for us! Will be back

Alan and Linda were wonderful hosts. The views were amazing and the peace was what we were looking for. We wanted a quiet, relaxing place to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday and this was perfect. We grilled out, lit a fire by the beach and made s’mores. We biked and played cornhole. The only issue we had was that we didn’t book for a longer stay. We are already planning our next stay.
