Carova’s wild horses frequently roam around the property. Imagine drinking your morning coffee or relaxing outside and looking up to see horses wandering through the yard.

They’re not just something you might see on a tour—you may get to experience them right from your vacation home.

🌊 Beach by Day, Canal by Evening

Pack the vehicle with your chairs, cooler and beach gear and make the quick 2-minute drive over the dune to the beach.

No carrying everything several blocks to the ocean.

After your beach day, return to the quiet canal and enjoy a completely different side of the Outer Banks.

Fish. Crab. Paddleboard. Take out the paddleboat. Relax by the water. Or simply sit back and watch the sunset.

Our large covered ground-level outdoor living area gives your group a place to spend time together even when you’re not at the beach.

Enjoy the Wild Horses Outdoor Bar, outdoor TV, refrigerator, seating and dining areas.

Wash the sand away in the outdoor shower, stretch out in one of the hammocks or challenge the family to cornhole, ring toss, life-size Jenga or ping-pong.

Fire up the charcoal grills for dinner and settle in for an evening by the canal.

And don’t be surprised if a few four-legged Carova residents wander past while you’re relaxing.

The home’s bright, open living area and fully equipped kitchen make it easy for families and friends to spend time together.

The first floor features two primary bedrooms with bathrooms, along with an additional full bathroom in the common area.

Upstairs you’ll find two additional bedrooms and another full bathroom, including a spacious king bedroom and a bunk room with two bunk beds plus trundles, sleeping up to six.

Two covered porches provide even more space to relax outdoors, including a dining area that’s perfect for family meals.

Enjoy the sunrise from one side of the home and return later for a beautiful Carova sunset.

🚙 Important — Carova 4x4 Area

Fantasea is located in Carova’s unique 4-wheel-drive beach area, and a proper 4WD vehicle is required to access the property.

There are no paved roads leading to the home. Getting here is part of the Carova experience—you’ll travel along the beach before heading over the dune into this special coastal community.
