The property was clean and the inside was beautiful. We sat out on the back porch of the property but the highway was loud in the background. There was only seating for 4 so it may be a challenge for larger groups. I had to contact the host for checking information since I was traveling. The host was responsive . We needed to contract the host again since the air conditioning didn’t seem to be working. The maintenance man was very responsive and fixed the problem.

Our stay at The Dollhouse was absolutely wonderful. The home was warm, welcoming, and just a short 15-minute drive from University of Wisconsin–Madison. Even on the rainy mornings before heading to the university, we enjoyed slowing down, playing games together, and making memories. It truly felt cozy and comfortable throughout our stay.

Beautiful home, great host and 20 minutes from downtown. Two downsides that the host cannot do anything to fix. #1: Road noise from highway across the river when enjoying great view of river. #2: One neighbor collects a bunch of old vehicles and was loud some mornings. Would still recommend but wanted to share the info.
