A private stairway leads to gravel beach where you can witness the ebb and flow of the wondrous 20 plus foot tides ( highest in the U.S.) as you explore the shoreline and discover the hidden beaches tucked away against the granite and evergreen trees of the shoreline. Collect sea glass and shells, catch a sighting of a harbor seal, and watch sea gulls and bald eagles glide above the 250 meter wide deep water channel that separates you from bird sanctuary Roger's Island. This is a perfect retreat for writers, photographers,artists, musicians,( there is a Baldwin piano in the living room with a water view) ,families and anyone who seeks the privacy ,peace, and seclusion in a very pristine and beautiful setting.

The house was lovely and very comfortable. The views were spectacular. We all enjoyed our stay. The area is so quiet, peaceful and beautiful. I highly recommend this house.

This is my third stay at Birch Point and it won't be my last. The house was clean and had everything my family needed for a relaxing vacation. The view from the decks are stunningly beautiful and awe inspiring. I'm already planning for my 2026 return. Thank Birch Point for a fantastic time!

We enjoyed the view from every deck, appreciated the comfort and cleanliness of the house and took advantage of the proximity to hiking and Lubec. We will definitely return!
