To ensure you can fully enjoy the 1.5 acres, we invest in professional seasonal mosquito treatments. While this significantly reduces pests and makes the yard much more enjoyable, please remember we are in a natural river setting—it is not a "bug-free" zone. We provide a "Bug Station" with extra repellent and candles to keep your "River Time" relaxing.

This very clean and beautiful riverside property is thoughtfully decorated and furnished for small groups who enjoy outdoor leisure activities, discovering local activities, or just relaxing with an amazing view of the water. The primary bedroom has a queen bed and a view of the river, a dresser and chair for convenience. The secondary bedroom has a double bed, twin with trundle and shelving for personal items. Neither room has a closet but has hooks. The bathroom has a spacious counter, shelves, and hooks making it easy to share with others.The common space is combined kitchen, dining and living room, with new appliances, a spacious prep island, 4-seat round bar height table and 4 stools at the island. The living room furniture is new and comfortable and take advantage of the huge windows facing the river.The kitchen has most everything you would need for a long weekend or short vacation: cookware, utensils, glassware, slowcooker, etc. A couple items we commonly use we made do without and added those to the conveniently placed whiteboard the host provides. The appliances are new and in great condition. The porch has additional seating for 5 or 6 and is so clean it hardly feels like a porch at all. The patio has two more seating areas plus a fire pit with more chairs!The hosts communicate promptly and completely. We had no unanswered messages or questions, we even had some well-timed proactive communications from them.

Clean, well stocked home. Quiet and convenient location for visiting our son attending UWSP. Would stay again when in the area. We were without power for about 12 hours due to an ice storm in the area and the hosts were exceptional with helping us settle in under the circumstances.

This cottage was absolutely the best. Fully furnished, kitchen well stocked, very comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. We will stay here again. Great views from inside the warm and cozy living room.

This family lake home is beautiful, nicely designed, fully equipped, and super clean. While the fish were not biting (at least not on my bait), birding was phenomenal. There’s so much to do on this property. We will be back, if you will have us! Thank you Lindsay and Dave!
