Fire Island Pines is a car free community which preserves its tranquil and exclusive atmosphere. To reach our oceanfront getaway you will arrive by ferry from Sayville. Once you arrive at the Fire Island Pines harbor the property is easily accessible by foot or by renting a local wagon for your luggage. Please note that there is no vehicle access to the island so we recommend planning your travel around the Sayville Ferry schedule. The nearest major airport is Long Island MacArthur Airport which is approximately a thirty minute drive to the Sayville Ferry terminal. For those traveling from New York City you can take the Long Island Rail Road to Sayville followed by a short taxi or shuttle ride to the ferry dock.

To ensure a seamless stay, please note that check in time is from 16:00 and check out time is 10:00. Fire Island Pines is a strictly car free community, so please plan your travel to align with the Sayville Ferry schedule. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property.
