Cottage #14 - Quaint, clean, comfortable cottage just 20 miles from Key West. Bring the family. Located on a compound with 2 swimming pools. Spacious cottage offers a full kitchen, screened patio, two queen bedrooms. The pool, dock and seawall are all available to our guests. A coin laundry is also available on site. Whether you come to the Florida Keys to escape the winters, or enjoy the calm waters and great fishing and diving of the summers, you will find Cudjoe Oceanside Cottage to be your Home Away From Home.

The cottage was very nice and in a great location—just a short distance to Key West with convenient access to a boat ramp and dock. The area was quiet and made for a relaxing stay. We also enjoyed catching the sunset across the street down Blimp Road.The only suggestions I would offer are related to a few minor issues. First, it may be better not to require guests to fully clean and put away their own dishes, as it raises the question of what the cleaning fee covers. If guests are expected to assist with dishes, placing them in the dishwasher prior to checkout would be more reasonable and would help ensure proper cleaning standards are maintained.Second, the water pressure is quite poor, which made it challenging for everyone to shower and for the ladies to wash their hair efficiently.Additionally, improved door security is recommended, as neither door had a deadbolt or chain. This would provide a much greater sense of safety and security. Leaving the cottage for the day while knowing it is not fully secure was somewhat stressful, even though the area itself is very nice.Overall, we had a great experience, and these small improvements would make the stay even better. I would still recommend the property, provided some security upgrades are addressed.

I feel that the kitchen and cottage ammentites were sub par to par. Surprised that traveling guests are expected to bring, paper plates, paper towels/ napkins, salt/pepper, toilet paper.
For the price of the property, I expected the above items to be provided and I was also surprised to see broken window shades, leaky stained ceilings, rotted wood trim inside and out, remote with a broken back piece, cheap wooden/ wicker furniture.
The picture of the cottage we were renting showed the pool right there and right off the ocean, yet our cottage was one that was 1/2 block down the gravel road. It wasn't too far to walk, but I feel the description of the listing was very misleading.
The main positive was the communication with property manager when if there were questions or issues.
