Upon arrival we walked into a beautifully clean home overlooking a large lawn, dock, and lakefront view with very comfy furniture and beds. The lake was quiet with a few loons, a flock of baby geese, and a flock of baby ducks. We didn’t catch anything bigger than a few small yellow perch, but we only fished from the dock and didn’t have many fancy lures. The fire pit was perfect and we got to enjoy s’mores on the one evening we didn’t have rain. Unfortunately the oven door was shattered upon arrival (assuming it was from the auto-clean cycle as the oven was still very warm when we opened it to look.) We notified Julie right away and she was on top of the situation immediately. Unfortunately the appliance store was not in as much of a hurry and the oven didn’t come until we were packing up 5 days later. Luckily the kitchen is VERY well stocked with a griddle and crockpot (among many other useful items!) and we were able to use the grill. Julie handled the situation very well and kept the lines of communication flowing so that we were always up to date. Lots to do in town (20-25 min drive) including Minoqua-bats water ski show, the lumberjack show, the Wildlife Park & Safari as well as lots of shopping, and places to eat. I also recommend Minoqua pontoon tours & rentals. We took a sunset tour that was fabulous!We can’t wait to go back again very soon!

Very beautiful and clean. The downstairs bathroom was very nice with the rainfall shower head. We appreciated the games, TV's, and books, especially with the weather not cooperating for the whole weekend. The breakfast bench was relaxing and a great way to start the morning with a cup of coffee.
