The location of our flat couldn't be beat! On a beautiful, pedestrian-only street with lots of shops and restaurants just outside our door, we still slept peacefully every night. The main bath is a bit on the small side and the fan does make a loud banging sound but that was addressed by the host during our initial walk through and we chalked it up to 'quirky' old European buildings. Do be aware that the master bedroom bath has a full glass wall, so if bathroom privacy is an issue for you, this is not the place for you! We gave this room to my son and all was fine, but it is something to be aware of as it came as a surprise to us. Otherwise, the flat is adorable and the balcony overlooking the street is priceless!

The apartment was close to everything! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to be in the center of town.

This is in a prime location, if you are looking to be right in the middle of the busiest, tourist street in Lisbon. That being said, it can be loud with the windows open.The property reached out to us 2 days in advance to select our check-in time. We chose 3pm. Marta greeted us a few minutes early and took us up to the apartment. Unfortunately, it had not been cleaned. We were told that we would have to leave once the cleaners arrived. This was very disappointing, due to the fact that my friend had an injured foot and needed to rest. In the end, it wasn't ready until 5:30pm!! No apology from the property or an explanation why this happened - just told that it was "unusual."Pros: Prime location, clean, cute furnishings. Large refrigerator. Marta (who greeted us) sent us a list of recommended activities and restaurants.Cons: Can be loud (outside and other tenants in the building). The dining chairs are uncomfortable. The drawers in the freezer are frozen shut. The bathroom with the shower is a dark "cave". Lighting is VERY poor. The fan is very loud. The shower leaks all over the floor (and with one towel per person, it is hard to clean up on a daily basis). There is a magnifying make-up mirror that is placed so high, you would have to be 7 feet tall to use!
